A Concrete Overhaul at Chisholm Park Public Boat Ramp

Q-ICE Builders recently led a full-scale renovation of the Chisholm Park Public Boat Ramp in Osceola County, Florida—a high-traffic launch site on the shores of East Lake Tohopekaliga. This commercial marine construction project focused on enhancing durability, safety, and water access for the local community.

The original ramp had to be replaced after it was undermined by erosion and began to collapse. To properly complete the project, Q-ICE Builders installed a full cofferdam and dewatering system, allowing safe and effective access to carry out the necessary scope of work. The scope of work included:

• Demolition and re-pour of the existing concrete boat ramp

• Upgrades to the approach area to improve access for vehicles and trailers

• Installation of new safety railings

• Installing new bumper rails to the floating piers
